Members mr benn Posted November 14, 2007 Members Share Posted November 14, 2007 thom's are modified korg u.k built reissue ac 30's handwired ones from mr dave petersen himself the mods done are quite close to the brian may model they've got celestion blues Ed has said they won't use vintage ones on the road as they don't trust them to hold up to the abuse,but these are pretty damn fine amps! Members mr benn Posted November 14, 2007 Members Share Posted November 14, 2007 no they were a limited run of very high quality handwired vox ac30's in the 90's (korg own the vox brand) as they were hand wired they were easy to mod and the man who wrote "the vox story" dave petersen (probably the biggest vox expert around) done the mods korg fitted these with blues when they were new,i doubt the boys would change that speaker for anything else Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
