i'd imagine the provider gets most, and then they pay the BBC for the rights to broadcast it. You definitely pay more to them than i do though.

yeah, i guess indirectly you pay....:)

I think our licence works out at about

everyone in the world should contribute to the BBC. coz they kind of maintain a standard that Fox/CBS etc would otherwise ignore completely.. and that would be baaaad mmkay.

I think fox ignores all standards, they don't appear to have any.

There's a lot of 'wrong' footage on here.

The video of Bob Dylan walking from the plane was a good few years after going electric in '66.

The clip of The Who they showed when Pete was talking about Jim Marshall had him playing through a couple of Vox Stacks.

Tsk.

hmm, just got back from a quiz night with some chips and forgot about this, my housemates are watching something so I'll have to wait, the other parts were good. Does it go up on Iplayer straight away?

Think it takes about half an hour.

Awesome episode, shame it's the end of the series

I didn't find it as interesting as last week's but it was good....they could have made it 6 parts though really, it felt quite 'skated over' in places.
