I loaned it to a coworker the other day and had told him what type of adapter woudl be needed to use it. He said that he had an adapter that would work. Lo and behold, the adapter he was talking about was an adapter for his computer speakers. Crap. So he plugged it in and heard a pop followed by the nice smell of burning electronics. Thus my DE7 died not with a shout, but with a stinking whimper. Poor thing, you deserved better. I guess all I can do now is hunt down a pink DE7 as a monument to my first delay.
