I like them alot, but they are the only monitors I've owned or used extensively so I can't objectively say they are better/worse than others. I highly recommend having an audio interface with balanced line outs and using balanced cables. Just be sure to put them on monitor stands.By the way, for anyone looking for monitor stands, buy the On-Stage stands from the online Guitar Center. They offer free shipping and buy one get one free, and everyone else is going to charge you $40 to ship them. These don't have free shipping right now... I don't need anything absolutely perfect, because the mixes are inevitably going to be played most of the time on imperfect setups anyways.
