Members amarr1
I always like sprucing up standard major/minor chords with added 9s. Clayton John knows dis voicing for a Dmajadd9. --0-- --5-- --2-- --4-- --5-- --x-- I like this one too, standard major/minor chords with a little jazz to 'em are always fun, I haven't played a standard major/minor bar chord in a while. Members amarr1
I like this one, it's essentially a combination of a Eminor and a Dmaj. Emin9add11--2----3----2----5----2----0--

Members .homewrecker.
I like a lot of voicings that involved open strings and with fretted notes higher than the open strings on lower strings. Gives a really big open sound to them. Triads on A,D and G rock with E, B, e drones

Members amarr1
It'd sound good in a context other than jazz if you didn't play that C on the A string.
Members damnuandurdog
If you raise the C to a C# then it would sound less wonky since there's already a G# and two F#'s in there.

Yeah, that's what I meant, however sometimes tension and dissonance like that would sound cool when resolving to another chord.
