Salinger Posted July 12, 2010 Members Share Posted July 12, 2010 As the title implies, I'm curious if anyone out there knows what settings Scott Hill used on his SuperFuzz for those early Fu Manchu recordings. Scooped or Non-Scooped? And do you think both knobs are maxed? I've also e-mailed Brad (Creepy Fingers) about this but was wondering if anyone out there has some ideas first. Members J.D. Salinger Posted July 13, 2010 Author Members Share Posted July 13, 2010 They used a Roland Double Beat & a Crown Fuzz (which was stolen and later recovered). Then moved on to the Orange/Blue SuperFuzz, Fuzz Faces, & Big Muffs. I did hear back from Brad (great guy and fantastic customer service) and he said the following: Both knobs on Max & the Scooped setting.
