Members jhamnett
So just finished a TGP trade for my "partsocaster". Got a Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby from the 80s... will check the pots to verify that. Has upgraded Grover Imperial tuners which are wicked cool. First impressions through a Lil Bastard battery powered amp with a dying battery... well, it sounds {censored}ing cool with a glitchy fuzz sound! Definitely a different vibe from anything I have and it plays pretty well. I'm happy! ... and, for good measure, here's a pic of my gf (OK, one hour was enough for you guys, hope you enjoyed!) Members Fender&EHX4ever
Congrats on your Gretsch score! I finally got around to installing my neck position TV Jones Classic this weekend in my G1628 Synchromatic (I had the bridge position installed more than a year ago). I've been playing on the Gretsch all week, soaking in the tones.

Members lowbrow
From the 80's? Ah...no, they've only been making them for maybe 6 or 7 years. But still, nice guitars. Huge necks, which I like.

Huge necks, which I like. Yeah, I was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry skeptical of that claim but the pics were good (one dinged up area on the edge, w/e) and the Grover Imperials are a nice touch. Need to dig out my amps from the basement (party over the weekend) and crank that {censored}!!
