Members crowquill
Seems like the tech knows less than most people here Why did he have to explain in depth how the bradshaw switcher works?? Members mikesr1963
He's an SRV wanna be to the 100th degree. He's sanding down a strat, he's bought the same tuners, the's bought the same amp and he's hired SRV's tech. It's takes forty guitars and 50 pedals because he simply doesn't have the fingers and he never will.
Members radomu
. I can't get it into my ears without feeling all violent about how stuff like this sells so many records and makes people so rich. It's a real shame when you can play that well, but your music sucks ass to that level. So I agree

So I agree While I am ok admiting that I really enjoy some of the songs off of Continuum, I have to agree. I was looking forward to more guitar based songs and instead he had to release this latest pile of {censored}. I really really hope that he has plans to work with the trio again or try anything thats not pop derivitive.

He even explain how drawers work f'ing magnets, how do they work? Dirk knew more about some of that stuff than the tech. I wish I could play as well as John, but I do not dig his music that much. I heard that he used it to record all of continuum and I think his live tone with the two rocks/fenders sounds better.

Members devi
Why does everyone rave about his tone? Other than his occasional poor taste in Adrenalinne effects, he just sounds like any standard pub blues guy playing sappy pop ballads. This. A billion times this. Members Hiwatt Bob
if by slightly tweaked you mean modified to allow the fragilest of harmonics to survive in the most crystaline of lattices. then yes.

Members devi
Devi's jealous. The epitome of SRV's tone to me will always be fender strat into stacked tube screamers into a fender something or other (bassman, verb, twin, etc.). Just sayin' ... Members Hiwatt Bob
So it comes with some crystal meth... dmt... lsd? lol. you obviously don't know a thing about electronics. the electrons from the fragile harmonics just can't survive in the crystal lattices of {censored}ty amps like fenders and tubescreamers. I really really hope that he has plans to work with the trio again or try anything thats not pop derivitive. Eric Clapton's solo stuff is mostly pop music, but at least I can see that he's using his guitar very well in his rather mediocre 80's stuff. I mean, I love good pop music. I don't really see that in John Mayer. Continuum was a fine pop album, but I would never listen to it for inspiration for my guitar playing. I never liked his singing too. His ballads, therefore, are the worst.
Members lolque?
I noticed some of the pedals were labelled wrong on the midi board. That guitar tech seemed lke he didn't really know what he was talking about. I'm sure he does, maybe he was just explaining it as if all the video viewers were complete noobs. Yeah I noticed that too. That's what I'm assuming.
