I just went to this exhibition on Sunday.

I bought my first Gorey book in 1977 when i was 8, and I've been a fan ever since. So this exhibition was a real treat for me.

His work makes me love paper and print again, and reminds me that there are some things that just dont translate over an iPad. His pop-up books are so cool

Yup, big fan. A casual bud of mine is a huge collector and has a bunch of original Gorey drawings he bought for very much lots of $$$ in NYC. VERY cool to see them up close and original.

If I wasn't already a gear collector, I probably would be collecting Gorey first editions.

As it is, I want to buy this someday. Probably sooner than later since the prices are only climbing every year.

I went to that same exhibit about a month ago. I liked!

csb: I have an EG mug that I found at a thrift store some years ago. It's my favorite mug, needless to say.
