Members companyman
I have been miserably failing to write a song like The Situationist since I first heard it, when that record came out.
Members companyman
this tune is killer!I have always thought that Shiner sounded like Steve Albini jamming with Hum in Dave Grohls garage.

Members companyman
I don't know much at all about this band, or its offshoots...I bought it used with a big stack, because I liked the cover. It was in my CD player in my painting studio for years, until I spilled dirty turpentine all over it. The Situationist was the song I would generally start a day of painting with, along with a big dark roast coffee. It set the mood for the days creativity nicely. Members sommy
I know a lot of people over at another message board who are super into Shiner. I've actually never heard them, so I guess I'll just listen to some of the YouTube vids and pass judgment and upset everyone. Also, Shiner Bock rules. Haven't had the black yet, though I imagine I'd love it, since I've loved every other black lager I've had.
Members sommy
This is pretty cool -- big, open, and very spare. I dig the drumming and bass work.
