This is the large, gray Dr. Z Airbrake that works with higher-wattage amplifiers. Works fantastic, but I hardly ever use it. $280 PayPal shipped. PM me for details.
  2. In very good condition. I love the sound of this little guy, but it's a bit too deep for me to really delve into. $500 shipped.
  3. Guitar-to-MIDI converter. In new condition w/ software, cables, etc. $400 shipped. PM me for details.

  6. My vote goes to the Hanson pic. It's looks smooth as any photoshop I've seen. It just needs ceiling cat. I cheated and pasted Phil on the pic I did for the "Any Picture Can Be Made Better By Adding Immortal To It" group on Facebook. Give me a minute and I'll see if I can do something better. (I guess I didn't know the guitar effects forum was a free for all. ) Needs more gauntlets and corpsepaint:
  7. Well, not really, but I thought all those people that were 100% SURE of Jackson without having really been there would like to be reminded that they are full of {censored} jsut like the U.S. intel that was 100% sure... In before
  8. I love my Box of Metal, but the only reason it's quiet is because of the gate. That thing is noisy as {censored}, otherwise.
  9. Nobody ever claimed they were the same.... I correctly guessed that A was the Klon, though I had a 50% chance of guessing right. I'm not going to claim it was some no-brainer. They are very close, but the Kalamazoo seems to saturate a bit more (which is a bit more up my alley). It seems like the dynamics are a bit more intact with the Klon (and now I can see why geezers bust a nut over the thing). Either way, it'd be easier to discern the differences in person.
  10. I just don't get why they call it the "Kalamazoo." Are they just trying to insinuate that it will make your poopy guitar sound like a vintage Gibson or something?
  11. So, I just loaded the software update for the 2880. I can't believe it -- every single problem I had with syncing the 2880 as a slave is completely gone, and I no longer have to record a loop of silence first and then record over it. I'm very, very pleased.
  12. The 2880 update is posted here: http://www.ehx.com/products/2880 Oh, that's great news!
  13. I use the 2880 still, but just use it as the master. I wish I could use it as a slave effectively so I could use the tap tempo on my MPC, but I'll live without it.
  14. I have an affinity for Daft Punk, Zapp, and pretty much anything else that involves a rich filter sound, and this seems to get me there pretty effectively. I did previously own a Guyatone Ultron, but I did end up selling it -- at the time, I was rarely using a filter sound, and didn't even know what the differences between HP, LP, and BP filters were. In retrospect, though, this is a much better option for me, as the LFO is quite a bit more "round" than that of the Ultron, I think it's quite a bit easier to dial in a usable sound with this, and it takes up less pedalboard real estate. If it were stolen or lost, well, I'd be pretty much screwed since I'm broke, but I would definitely try to replace it. Like I said earlier, I do wish that the CV input allowed me to control the speed of the LFO, but it does not. Other than that, it is an excellent pedal.
  15. I first thought the OP wanted a tattoo of the Citadel of Siths. That'd be pretty badass.
  16. i could smell it on ya. I don't think you quite smell what the OP intended.
  17. Superjail is awesome simply because it's animated by the same crew that did the first season of Beavis and Butthead.
  18. I love droney ambient and post rock, so it's definitely a huge creative tool for me. Like I said above, it is lacking in some features that other products out there for less have (IE: Jam Man, RC50), but blows those products away in terms of sound quality, ease of intuitive use, and being a creative tool. Ultimately, I plan on using the looper to generate and capture some bizarre guitar drones and noises and then resample those sounds into my Akai MPC.
  19. Has anyone here used the Boss Dimension C? I'm intrigued, but I can't find any demos on YouTube. That, and I imagine it's probably hard to find one.
  20. What is the Choralflange like, and who makes it? Just curious.
  21. Hey guys, I'm thinking of redoing a part of my board -- I'm basically running three signal paths into two amps (the details of which are somewhat unimportant in the context of what I'm looking for). In any case, I'm running a Boss PH-3 before my signal is split the first time (into two paths) and then an EHX Polychorus on one side after my PH-3 and delay (a DD-5 is what splits the signal). On my old board, I had the Polychorus out front and then the PH-3 later, and I prefer the sound of that. However, I'm getting a bit sick of the PH-3 and would like to pick up an EHX Stereo Polyphase to put in place of the Polychorus. I'm looking maybe for a flanger or chorus similar to a Polychorus or Small Clone (I'm mostly using the Polychorus for Small Clone type sounds, anyway), but perhaps in a more compact box (since I'm not sure a Small Clone would fit on my board) and preferably able to be powered with a standard Boss power supply (since that is what my board's power supply is running, and it'd be a collossal pain to tear up all the panels/etc just to change a power supply -- not that I wouldn't, but it's not preferred). Stereo outputs aren't necessary (but would be cool), and if it's not quite Small Clone-esque, that's cool I suppose, too. Help me think of something cool. PS -- No Nano Clone, 'cuz that thing sucks.
  22. Well, I was doing this: But now I'm doing this:
  23. Everyone needs a Fuzz Factory -- problem is, most people don't realize what is good for them. Is it hard to get a consistent sound? Yup. Is it pretty thin right in front of a clean sound with no EQ? Yup. My friends, you need to indulge your inner masochist and buy one. The Fuzz Factory is calling, and you cannot resist. Submit to the abrasive 8-bit sonic oblivion that is only capable with what this pedal has to offer!!!!! Seriously though, the thing is really versatile, but yeah, most of the stock sounds are really harsh. Personally, I like that, and I think there are plenty of applications for sounds that are glitchy and harsh. But there are other tones in there, and it sounds lovely in front of an EQ or an amp that is slightly overdriven.
