What was the distortion pedal with the row of LEDs and the volume control-like contro

Back in the 90s (I think), I recall seeing a distortion pedal in the MF catalog. It had a bank of LEDs in a row to show how much gain was being used. Instead of a standard pot, it had a wah or volume pedal-type control to control the gain level interactively while playing.

 

Do you know what it was? Sorry I can't give a better description. Searching eBay and Google hasn't helped...

I should probably explain...

 

"This" is a HC meme... it's something that a lot of us (myself included :o ) use as a sort of shorthand way of agreeing with a post.

 

And I could answer this thread basically the same way. The way the item is described in the original post, the only thing I can think of that sounds remotely close is the Visual Sound Visual Volume pedal. And it sounds to me exactly like what you're describing:
