A thing I would really like but probably won't exist.

I really like spring reverb, like a lot. It's pretty serious.

I don't have the money, time or space to collect all the old spring reverbs. Maybe someday when I am rich, which is another thing that won't exist. But it would be super awesome to have a spring reverb modeler. It could be COSM or whatever the {censored}; I don't care. But if it mostly-accurately sampled flavors of old obscure spring reverb units, and had parameters like spring tension, number of springs, diffusion, that would be super cool.

I would also like a puppy and a new guitar.

Sounds like something Strymon would do.

Actually, you can kinda do this in a DAW, you know. If you have a convolution reverb program like Perfect Space you can take any impulse (like, a click run through a real reverb tank) and sample that and use it as your reverb program. It works really well.
