Members Loobs
They can be heavy. I wasn't mad on the pickups. I prefer the Classic 50s Tele over the Baja any day of the week.
Members duncan
Amazing neck, heavy as a car, great versatility with the S1 switch. I've owned 2. They are an incredible guitar. I only got rid of them because financial circumstance forced me to.
Members the_woodoo_mule
I work in a Fender dealer shop on afternoons...played pretty much every fender that came out in the past 5 years, and those are one of my favorites!
Members dramaticrunner
Is the soft v the same as the ej strat neck? The on I'm looking at is 7lb8oz.

Members d4rk0
me too. my 52 has a neck like a baseball bat sawed in half. The body has to weigh 9 lbs. I love it. I once saw a thread on TDPRI where the OP asked what made a Tele a "REALTele." The best answer I read was, "if you drop it on your foot, and it breaks your foot... then it's a real TELE." Members dramaticrunner
hmm... i'm a little concerned with the 1.625 nut. i had a blacktop tele, and although i never measured it, the spec was 1.650, and i thought it was a touch narrow. i'll try to find one to play this weekend
Members CodeMonk
I tried one at GC a few years ago.Baseball bat neck.Loved it.Wanted to buy it, but I was in there for an amp.
Members dramaticrunner
baseball bat indeed. felt so similar to a nocaster neck. that said... ordered!
Members thom
I'll have to try one out myself someday. If the neck's thinner than on my '52AVRI, I might want to trade it for a baja and use the money for...food:(
