"off course" i will take the obligatory trip to denmark street, but "off course" i WON'T BUY A THING THERE! jest looking, trying and gasssssing.what are some hot shops to visit and maybe buy something at reasonable prices? i am also interested in recording things, so i want to go to the funky junk shop. anything else i shouldn't miss on my "sightseeing" trip? Members ArrMatey
you should go to Wyld guitars near Highgate, it's a hidden but good shop with some great hiwatt stuff. I'd def look on gumtree for deals.

Members DaveinLondon
I posted these on TGP a while back: http://www.guitar-classics.co.uk/ Battersea, SW London. Clapham Junction is a 10 min walk away. Very small shop concentrating on used and vintage guitars. http://www.chandlerguitars.co.uk/ Chandler's at Kew Gardens. Near the end of the District Line (or get train from Waterloo/Victoria to Richmond then go one stop on tube). Plenty of Fender, PRS, Peerless and other brands. Good size shop. http://www.guitar-xperience.com/onlinestore/ Out at Hampton Wick, just beyond Kingston (a train ride from Waterloo). Small shop as I recall. Plenty of rare and boutique gear. http://newkingsroadguitars.co.uk/ New Kings Road Guitar Emporium. Vintage specialist. Haven't been there before but looking at the new website, I'll have to take a look.
