Members iamthearm
so i've got a HRDIII and i'm super happy with the sound but i can't even put it past 2 at shows or rehearsals. i'm wondering if a blues jr (or 2) would be more effective in that i could turn it up more and get some nice "edge of breakup" clean tone. i've played them at GC and really like the sound but i'm wondering if i'll be losing anything or if it won't be quite enough for club gigs with no PA. maybe i need one of each? Members DRGUN
I owned several 50-100 watt combos over the years, both tube and solid state. I never owned the HRDX but amps of a similar quality and caliber. I was tired of being too loud and lugging big amps around, so I got pro jr, and it was great, but the 10" speaker wasnt my thing, so I got a blues jr. The blues jr is a fantastic gigging amp, and I bought another one to have a stereo pair. Its fantactic, and unless I start selling out stadiums Ill probably never switch. So yeah, one vote for the blues jr!
Members TravvyBear
I really want a Blues Jr III. Seems like a great amp for home/practice/small gigs. They're a bit to pricey for me though, I'll probably end up with a Vox Pathfinder eventually.

Members Urinate Forever
BLUES JR. I keep my volume at noon and the master to taste when I play at home and it always sounds great.
