Members Zetamkiii
Awoke 3 months ago from an almost 8 month coma I suffered due to an accident I suffered at the beginning of the year. So it's pretty much been a wasted year for gear. Spent my time just reading up on stuff I missed. Managed to snag a couple Spacemen. Unfortunately, Still more waiting! The releases I'm most interested are due next year.

Members ArrMatey
This year has been a really weird year for me. I have been personally in & out of houses, almost couch surfing at a friend's house so my acquisitions have been so minimal while a lot of my stuff over the past 18 months had to go. I sold a lot of stuff that I use to have as I had a huge setback in my personal life (moved to oz, couldn't stay/ran out of cash for a bit, had to go back to the UK, going back down again now) so nothing serious could be acquired...I was supposed to get some gear but the lack of proper place to call my own meant whatever I got would be small and it did reflect in my acquisitions.Bought: fender champ 600, catalinbread chilli picosso, fuzz factory, pog 1.Sold: pog 2, 2-3 guitars, lots of my studio stuff, fish & chips, a few more stuff.Selling: my beloved binson echorec. What I really want to get for next year is: a princeton reverb or something similar, an old echoplex, a new studio rig that I will be able to use for mixing/prepping studio recordings, a couple of pedals and a squier jazzmaster j mascis. So much want but can't get because of my current personal situation.

For me, I'd really like the pickups to be more open like older vintage Gibson pickups and I'd like more range in the tone and volume pots. It would be easy to throw a couple of hundred dollars to modify this into a real tone monster.

Yea the stock sound is very modern. This guitar "as is" want to do the hard rock metal type stuff. It doesn't lend itself very well to the blues,Christian "Edge" type of tones very well. For straight ahead rock you can keep it like is. I'd like it to be more versatile and would like to set it up like a Grissom DGT guitar with all the tap single coil options. That's kinda what I plan in the future for it.
