Right now I'm majoring in Music Recording, but I'm going to switch to Music Industry for the business aspects. I'm intersted in working in a studio or having a band or anything really...I'd like to know more about what jobs I could get... So, what job do you have that involves music? In a band? Record label? Promotion/advertising? Studio? Radio even? I want to hear about all the jobs and if you're comfortable talking about pay, that'd be helpful too! Members again with this Posted November 13, 2006 Members Share Posted November 13, 2006 I don't any more, but when I was in college, and for several years after, I worked in a record store. It really opened up my musical horizons. However, these days, you'd have to find a good used record dtore to get anythign out of it. Most college towns have at least one.
