Members PintoMusic
Ian Thornley uses Line 6 Vettas on tour but I doubt he uses them in the studio. Jonny Greenwood or Radiohead apparently uses SS Fender combos for distortion. Of course, loads of pros have used the Roland JC for their cleans. Not too sure, but I think he used the Pod for more than just cleans. Even still, it's progressive rock; everything goes and a song still counts as a whole. A few more, off the top of my head: Suffocation- Ampeg VH140C Dying Fetus- Ampeg VH140C Scott Ian- Randalls, don't remember which model Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative)- MosValve power amp Jerry Cantrell- MosValve power amp (before he got his 2:90) C.C. Deville- Crate SS heads Adrian Belew- a ton of modeling stuff, Johnson Millenniums, primarily At The Gates- Peavy Supreme 160 on Slaughter Of The Soul In Flames- Marshall Valvestates on The Jester Race and Whoracle Peter Tagtgren- Sansamp PSA1 Actually, i believe Jerry Cantrell switched from the 2:90 to the Mosvalve, saying he needed the crispness of SS or something? He was running the Bigner Fish pre-amp into it, of course. Scott Ian is using the V-max heads now, and i think he used a Cyclone for a while too. I think I heard something about that recently, that Suffocation switched over to Peavey. They were big VH140C users for a long time.
