Members Knottyhed
Bare with me, because I'm a complete powerbrake noob and this may be a really dumb question... but can you use them in conjunction with a combo amp without doing any surgery? Or do you need a head/cab in order to place the powerbrake between the amp and the speaker?
Members knucklefux
if the speakers in the combo plug in to the back of the amp, then yes you can use it without surgery.
Members Stephen Colbert
can you use them in conjunction with a combo amp without doing any surgery? If you can unplug your speaker from the back of your amp. You should be able to insert the power brake in between the output of your amp, and the speaker. Might be sort of tricky, because the cord will be fairly short (going to your speaker). Good luck

Why couldn't you use one with a combo?
