Moderators justcrash Posted January 9, 2008 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2008 live hasn't been quite right since the dashboard update..all the new account sign ups over the holidays didn't help either....but I haven't gotten booted much if at all lately....some people are having problems and others, not so much...It takes me 15 minutes to find a CoD4 game. It will go into match making and it will tell me, over and over again that I must have an internet connection (I do). OR it will put me in a lobby with other players and I'll think "Cool, I'll get to play!". Then it will start continously "evening teams". Then it kicks you out and says "game lobby is closed". Saturday night, myself and 2 friends tried to play together in a public match for 40 minutes before we just gave up. There WILL be times where I can get right on and play, no issues. Those are rare. Usually if I DO get in, I can play one match and then I am kicked and I have to start the whole process again. It's been like this ever since the update. I'm wary of adding too many people to my friends list because I'm definitely a liability/fragbait right now. I've only had the 360 since Christmas... I guess if you need someone to rip to shreds, I'm your guy. I logged onto COD4 last night and I couldn't even remember the controller config. It was actually pretty hilarious watching the Killcam because I looked like a total n00b/retard (I had only bought the game and done the basic intro mission two days before). Gears is definitely the game I've played the most, so I'd at least have the buttons down. I'm definitely checking it out on-line after reading this. Gamertag: CountZeroInt I've got kids now... so I'll probably suck forever. LOL. Back in my Quake 1 days, I'd log on immediately after work and play all night while my wife worked. Sounds like your NAT is screwed up.I was bored last night and played for about 3 hours straight. Never had a problem finding matches and definably didn't get kicked. I was fiddling with my firewall (netscreen SSG20) a while back and fatfingered something, without realizing it made my xbox NAT type strict. If I play COD in the afternoon here (6 hour time diff from EST) I have alot of problems. But when I go online at night I have no problems at all.
