Members Fireside
Been looking at them the price is real good. Looking to play some big hair, metallica, megadeath, aic, type music. Will this get it? If I ever need to sell it will the resale hold well like a Mesa or others? Damn, I need a new amp. LaterFire

Members chrispsullivan
resale isn't great, it's a little too loose and squishy for metal, so you'll need a boost for that great clean channel and a great all around amp though
Members Weathered
Nice clean channel, great sounding amp for what it is (lots of gain, not too tight). I'll probably own one some day. Maybe I'll buy one to mod it
Members damnuandurdog
I like mine but it's not tight enough by itself for thrash or core-crap
Members Fireside
Thanks everyone for the replies. When you say OD peddle are you saying a TS-9 or something similar in the way of a metalzone? Not a big fan of the zone. Is the Legacy going to get me Metallica Justice/Master/Ride, Megadeath So Far/Rust/Count, AiC Dirt/Jar, Warrant, Motley, Skid, Poison, AC/DC? I also found a Blackface Dual Rect 2 channel for fairly cheap. Thanks Fire
Members ocnor
I love my Legacy. It works great for Judas Priest and Scorpions style music. These amps won't do Mesa sounds because you just can't suck enough of the tone out to make it sound like lifeless cardboard.

Members duncan
legacy's are great amps! be sure to be liberal with the treble/presence as those amps are pretty dark.
