Members OverDriven Posted June 17, 2008 Members Share Posted June 17, 2008 Quick one here. Two things... Desaturating dark hair only makes it turn black like yours has, not grey. You need to actually lighten it by changing the levels curve (or any other technique you like). No photo will ever have complete desaturation in any area. A very very slight tinge of yellow/orange is over the entire photo, and it needs to be added back in on the hair with the colorize function set to a very low saturation setting AFTER you desaturate the hair and lighten it.
