You are encouraging people to have children because they will get more money. It's the wrong reason. I don't have any children. The reason is BECAUSE I really can't afford children right now. If I would have kids, I'd be burdening the taxpayer. Even with the credit, I'd still be burdening the taxpayers because it still wouldn't be enough.
