I dual booted to vista just to play it in DX10 with the fancier lights and effects. If you've got the hardware to handle it (8800GTX minimum IMO) it's amazing. My 8800 ultra can't run it at full settings though maybe I'll have enough tax refund money for a GTX 285. For the money, I think they're the best hands down. I got the abbreviated ending, went back and got the full ending and it was well worth it. What I really like about them both is the feeling of vulnerability, that you're almost equal or severly outgunned in most cases. That said, the moment I got the 9mm sniper rifle the game was over. I have Clear Sky, but I also have 4 other games to play/finish, so that's been sitting and waiting to be played. Far Cry 2 looks interesting and seems like Stalker as well.
