So this report - paid for by Microsoft - gives that info. They start with 1100 URLs then narrow it down to 460 that IE8 blocks.Yet they won't give out the URLs... http://www.thetechherald.com/article.php/200912/3268/Can-you-trust-the-NSS-Labs-report-touting-the-benefits-of-IE8 So, Kate - got n00dz? Members LaXu
Can I use Chrome on OSX? Yes. It's fairly stable but still has some bugs and is a bit behind the Windows version in features. I don't like it all that much on OSX, it just fits Windows 7 much better somehow. Safari uses the same great rendering engine as Chrome. In fact it's Webkit engine is probably the most advanced rendering engine at the moment. But as we know, Safari's user interface is about as crappy as IEs and its features are barely average too. The only thing that makes Firefox good is that it has a good addon system. I find that to get it customized for my needs I have to have about a dozen addons and then it's a far cry from the stock browser. I may consider Chrome as soon as it has a good ad blocker and Xmarks bookmark/password syncing.
Members pink freud
I installed Firefox a few days ago and initially it worked perfect. Then all of a sudden, I can't play YT vids on HC????WTF?!?!?!?!?!Went back to using Safari and all was good again. You have to be careful about what addons you run.
