They had it priced @ 699 for the head and cab which I was almost willing to pay. I was acually in there to buy another guitar but then he pointed out the price on this amp and I jumped on it. Low volumes this amp is pretty good. I haven't kranked it through my mesa cab yet as the kids have been home and I haven't been to the jam spot lately. Tonite I will give it a good run though. For whatever reason, they sound MUCH better in person than in ALL the clips I've heard of it. It's actually quite a nice amp and at $299 is a no brainer of a purchase.
