"Hyperspeed melodic death metal" -> actual genre description on a T-shirt of a band I once played in. Jazz metal, black metal, heavy metal, power metal with corresponding totally different interpretation depending on whether you are American (Pantera) or European (Hammerfall / Manowar). Who the {censored} would call Pantera power metal?Jesus Christ. I believe the term you are looking for is "groove metal".That's what they are often described as.
