The show is based loosely on the books, which is good, because the parts where they seem like they're written by an old lady are replaced by excitement. Bitch CAN'T ACT, annoying as {censored}, pigeon toed, can't straighten her arms, and has a bigger gap than Letterman. but all that aside, SHE CAN'T ACT! She's CONSTANTLY over the top, and it borderline ruins the show, if it weren't for the storyline and other actors, it would be unwatchable. In general I think the side-stories and "peripheral" characters are often more interesting than the Sookie/Bill love story, but it's all good...
