Members NinjaRaf
I keep coming back to my 6505 212...But I dunno, I need to try out some other amps. Every one tells me I need a savage and a cobra, so we shall see...

Members RSBro
Yup.Now I just need another cab and I'm good. I WOULD however love love a custom NS4 with P+Hum pickups tho + the 18V Haz Labs pre. I love love that pickup config and hardly anyone does it which sucks. Members charveldan
60's Les Paul into 70's JMP, turned really LOUD.
Members thefyn
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9437060 Lots of freinds of mine pref the more modern tones in other tracks, but this sound for me best represents my personal pref. Members missingastring
I haven't played in a band setting for a while, so I've been using the Vypyr for bedroom wankage. Now I'm putting together a new multi-purpose live rig. It's fun. Pedals into a good clean amp are the way to go for me now. BARBER SMALL FRY = TOOOOANZ! Members Dolf
There are too many great tones and there's always something one has that the other doesn't. I don't think that there is an ultimate "holy grail" tone for me. I like different tones for different applications.
Members sahlomonic
I found it in the JCA100H I demo'd a couple weeks ago Sounded so good my wife insisted I buy it on the spot But I love my 6505+ and Bogner Alchemist almost as much

I like different tones for different applications. That is the thing. You need horses for courses. I just bought a modern fuzz because I want an uber huge powerchord attack that my "grail" tone can't reproduce.
Members NaturalBornBoy
I've been happy with my Legacy for many years now. Have never had the urge to buy another amp. Although tbh, I have been looking into the Randall NBKing
Members Zacman0126
Yup. Now do I have it? No. but damned close enough. That would be a Mesa Triple Rectifier and a Peavey 6505+ each into a Mesa oversized 412 running in stereo with an MXR micro amp, reverb, and tuner. All with detuned guitars. Members Cirrus
Pushed AC30 with humbuckers does it for me.
Members Oblivion DC
Cobra w/KT88s, into a VHT 412 - for metal. But one of these days I'm gonna learn "I Know a Little" and I'm going to have to figure out what kind of amp/cab combo will give me an appropriate sound. I'm also absolutely clueless when it comes to getting that "classic rock" mid-gain sound. The quest never ends...
Members spawnofthesith
Not sure if I would say holy grail quite yet, but I love my tone and presently have 0 GAS

Members thenakedarab
Oh, and yea I've used a Mesa Tremoverb the past 15 yrs, so I'm covered amp wise too. It sounds especially bad ass when running as the master amp for my 220 watt stereo tube rig through a 4x12 on one side, a and ported 2x12 and open back 2x12 on the other side. I {censored}ing rule the sonic spectrum, and bend it to my will as I see fit.
Members THEE HAMMER
Yeah my tone now is the best it's ever been.5150bl/6505+FJA into a Randall Bmf x loaded cab with Les Pauls with dimebuckers/dirty fingers. The next chapter will be adding either a sunn model t halfstack (original) or a thunderverb 200 halfstack for stereo with boss fz-2, molloon boost, and rotary emulator... Possibly a pog. And switching from Les Paula to prs tremonti's
