Members kherman
Well, I already mentioned some of the bands I liked. But, reading through the posts, I can definitely see where some of you are coming from. For me most of my favorite stuff was from the early to mid '80s. Both European and LA metal. What I didn't care for was when pop-metal like Poison, Tuff, TigerTailZ started coming out. Same with the sleaze metal like LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Sleeze Beez. What I hated even more was when the bands I liked from the early '80s tried going those routes to try and stay relevant. But, by the late '80s - early '90s, I was pretty much listening to Neo-Classical Shred or Progressive Metal. Since then I've pretty much have gravitated back to more Power Metal style bands. Classic Maiden and Dio, to Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian, to Firewind and Kamelot.
