You can really see the tailpiece sits at an angle on the studs. Well, not in the pic you can't but it does.Sony DSC-H20 so theres no point in that is there ? When sweat combines with the string and tail piece, it left it pretty well marked up as well. Like so... Keeping gray scaled for thread integrity. I believe that if you put your tailpiece adjustment screws further down, they have more metal on metal contact and it does some vibration dampening. It does change the sound, though not much, as most of that vibration is transferred to the body through the bridge, but the bridge screws don't have nearly as much play as the stop tail-piece.
