Members GnR102385
I have it on the DVR, and I will hopefully watch tonight. I am very excited to see it.
Members Thy God
I'll watch it at some point in the week when I have the patience to really sit down and focus on it. I know my vocalist and guitarist will both be jabbering on about it tomorrow at practice.
Members TheGrimReefer
m going to watch the premiere as soon as I get home in the morning. How does it compare to the books? The previews look like they've kept it very faithful...

Members TheRymanChu
Tim Van Patten is the man. He really brought this one home. There's nothing like multiple decapitations in the first half hour. This was the best fantasy since LOTR. I didn't read the books, but feel I should now. What is beyond the wall in the North? Members cbc83
IMO, they nailed the feel of the book. Great casting and acting all around - they set almost all the kids to be older than in the book, but it works. I'll definately be following this one. The production values are great as well. Members johnpace2
I really liked it. Will probably end up reading all the books as well.
Members GnR102385
I liked it quite a bit. I have not read the books because I am waiting for him to finish them first, so I didn't know what to expect. It appears that incest abounds in Westeros. Not gonna spoil it for ya, but it, pardon the pun, goes a helluva lot deeper than that. Glad to see Nikolaj Coster-Waldau get some work (Jaime Lannister) - He's hiding his danish accent a LOT better than Mads Mikkelsen and Jesper Christensen did in Casino Royale. Members Rampage
I really liked the preview, so I'll be watching this for sure. I'm going to wait for the first four episodes to come out so I can start watching them two at a time on Saturdays. I can drink more during the show that way. Don't expect much more action in the future though, that is not what the series is about. I usually hate pilots and early episodes because of all the terrible dialog they have to work in, just to introduce things and to make sure everybody understands things. But I think the show will definitely pick up by the third episode. Though I am not expecting a bunch of action. I got into this show expecting medieval political warfare, not sword swinging and action:o The titties are awesome of course:o
Members jlb32
I thought the first episode was killer. I know nothing about the story or books but the first episode pulled me in pretty good. I definitely will keep watching.

Just be aware - the printed series is, at this time, not complete. Moreover, that fat bastard writes slow as hell and it doesn't look like he's going to be finished with it any time soon. Members inkwachemis
How many books are there? at the moment, there are 4 written. the 5th is due to be released this summer hopefully. the series is planned to be 7 books. The books are absolutely amazing so far. quite possibly the best fictional literature I've ever read so far. I liked the first episode so far, looking forward to the rest. For the ppl that haven't read the series so far, be careful about researching about this series on the internet as massive spoilers abound. thats all I have to say about that.
