Members MattACaster
Impedance change,... Really!!!! Can my Avatar cab with 2 16ohm Celestions (wired right now at 8ohm) be re-configured to do a 4ohm if that's the case????DJ Well, I think in that case you'd just run the 16 ohm tap (which would be 8 with the tube pull) into the cab. Members Cliff Fiscal
Odd mine has a great clean channel? It's not unusable......but I wouldn't classify it as "great". It's a "great" clean if you play metal. I'm comparing it to amps with nice cleans....Super Reverb, YBA-1, TOL50, and various other amps with nice cleans. Members MattACaster
Cons: Clean sucks and there's a delay when switching channels. I wouldn't say they suck. Also, the switching gap is dependent on if you have a Series 1 or 2.
Members vickno
I had a Single Rectifier head a few years ago and it sounded great but I didn't like the effects-loop. It's parallel and it goes from 10 to 90%, not 0-100% how it would be normal.
