Members daklander
A very nice black ale by New Belgium Brewing, Fort Collins CO.This has a really nice chocolaty dryness, nice and crisp with a great finish, good threading and wonderful color and head. I was pleasantly surprised with this ale. It goes well with a bit of pickin' and grinnin'.45 degrees is the recommended temperature but does wonderfully into the 60s.It is "1554 Enlightened Black Ale" and is supposed to be derived from a recipe from that year. It's going to fit nicely with the porters and stouts I'm fond of and I recommend it, if you can find it. Members Brokepick
.....It goes well with a bit of pickin' and grinnin'..... Too bad there's not room for a bottle or two of it in the guitar case. I doubt I'll find it this far east, but I'll keep a lookout for it. Kinda like Coors was back in the early seventies here. Hard to find.

A bottle, with a little bubble wrap around it, just might fit into a hard shell case up around the head stock area......
Members Sangemon
It interesting that you bring this up. At the moment I'm sitting here drinking a growler of a beautiful malty lager from my local micro brewery. I've been recording today and now it's "Muddy Creek" time! Members daklander
Sorry my friend. Though that's some pretty good ale, and I like it, it doesn't match up.
Members panhandler
Porters, Ales, Stouts, Bocks, Pilsners and Lagers are NOT OT! They are as essential to guitar playin as a Pick or a Capo
Members Terry Allan Hall
I bet that's only sold by the 6-pack! Seriously, any idea where I can get some of those glasses?
Members Simon76
Polygami Porter is big around Salt Lake City, Nevada. Any gift shop around the Sundance film festival areas will have them. That would be in Park City, Nevada. Robert Redford owns the Sundance ski resort South of SLC but it's too small to hold the film festival so they do it up at Park City where the Winter Olympics were held. There are tons of cool bars and micro-breweries in Park City. But Polygami Porter is a big time brand in the area, all over billboards and sweatshirts. A google on "Park City gift shop" would get you some phone numbers.
Members Simon76
Actualy I found it right on the companies website. http://www.wasatchbeers.com/shop/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=6&Itemid=26 They have some other cool brews too. The videos on this page is good fun. http://www.wasatchbeers.com/media.html It's a very cool pub. 10x the personnality of a Potbellies inside. Of course the backbar is windows overlooking the fermenting and storage tanks. The locals all have their own cups and mugs hanging on the wall. http://www.wasatchbeers.com/images/outside-brewpub.jpg

As a gift, I recieved a membership in the Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club; you receive twelve, 12-oz. bottles of beer each month. Some of you maybe interested, it's a great way to taste/sample national and international brews. http://www.beermonthclub.com/index.htm Also: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/25/dining/25beer.html?scp=2&sq=Beer&st=nyt
