Members GuitarNoobie Posted October 13, 2005 Members Share Posted October 13, 2005 i believe the thread was started to point out that this is a guitar forum for people to discuss their gear. to ask questions, to have questions answered. to the contrary EM, you have done nothing but put people down who don't own a MIA guitar. you are entitled to your opinion, but the way you say needs some serious work. people who own MIC, MIK, MII guitars are just as proud to be in the guitar world. and not everyone can afford even $300-$400 for a used MIA, so back the {censored} off. can you understand that? Even so, while trying to reply as cordialy as I could, I've already been called out for not agreeing with someones opinion, about their favourite players, misinformation about frets and so on. I think variety is the spice, and like to see and hear everybody's guitar related {censored}! The more different than mine, the better. It's important to take a little time to help out the new players, give them intelligent advice, and encourage them by civil compliments on there gear and stuff. I notice JJ doing this in spades, more than anyone else.That being said, it is virtually impossible for me to resist wisecracks and smartass commentary on some of these off topic moronic threads. Ultimately, though, it is my fault for fueling the fire.I definately came here for guitars, and get bummed at being distracted from said guitar related discussion.
