Members mysterybat35
Hi, I have been playing a certain type of music for a while now, and I've been told that listening to different types of music is a good thing. So, you guys tell me ..whats your favorite guitar solo in a song . I'll listen to it and see how I like it. Mine is: Ernie Isley's solo in the Isley Brother's cover of Summer Breeze. .. mysterybat35

Members axegrinder
I will go away from the obvious but for SOME reason one of my faves...Rush's Alex Lifeson on Digital Man. It's more about the arrangement and how it builds from just rhythmic interplay between drums and bass and guitar into a true guitar solo while the bass and drums continue building on the original theme. I know most have heard it but I think it should be listened to. My $0.

Members spazmojackson
Not necessarily the best, but my favorite solo would be Dave Navarro's from Been Caught Steeling. Or pretty much anything by Hendrix or SRV.

Members princeadr
Well I have always liked Crossroads by Cream with EC on lead of course. I also remember really liking some of the lead work by Terry Haggerty on the first Sons of Champlin album but I haven't listened to it in a long time so I don't know how it holds up. Yeah, Terry Kath was very good in his day!
