Members bluewolf
I have a Samick AV7 and its areally good guitar. I currently have seymour alnico pro 3 humbuckers in it. I really love the p90 sound so what are some good p90's that would fit ?Harmomic design? seymour fat cats? vintage vibes?Maybe some Fralin unbuckers or p92's? Or maybe the Gibson p94's? I would appreciate any opinons on this. I play mostly blues through a Blues Jr special edition with the Jensen speaker in it. I have a Tele with Antiquity p90's in it and it sounds great, but I love how the Samick feels and plays.

Members cratz2
It'd be cheap enough to order a Mean 90 from GFS to check out before shelling out for any of the bigger dollar options. Just order one, check it out and see what you think.

Members tlbonehead
I love P94's and the old Lindys, before the P92. Other than those, I'd give Petey a call.

Members Spudro
I got a set of custom built P-90s that look completely like humbuckers. The polepieces are along the side of the pickup as if the cover had two coils under it. Pete Biltoft at Vintage Vibe is way open to requests for special work. Now I'm just looking for a guitar to install them in. Vintage Vibe's pickups are waaay cheap right now. That's why I bought pickups before I have the guitar to put them in. Check them out => VintageVibe Pickups
Members garyfanclub
P-94's are great but they don't sound like P90s, they're way more "dynamic" or "responsive" and sit very heavily in the "high mids" area of the sonic spectrum. They're also fairly hot, but I'm not sure if you care about that.
