Members BTBAM
So for all the fellow Rickenbacker owners out there, what type of strings do you like on your guitar?

Members metropolis74
+1 for the Ric brand strings for the 12'er. When I had a 6 string 330 I just used D'Addario 10's because that's what all my other guitars use. The Ric brand strings just didn't sound good to me on it. Members GUITKRAZY
I am getting ready to change the strings on my 330 (I purchased a new 330 about 3 months ago) and quite honestly I am debating whether or not to move to 10's because I feel that the factory 9's just feel a little light for my liking- I know there are more Rick owners out there! Members Daddy-OhNo
When I bought my 2005 360/12, the previous owner had replaced the stock strings with D'Addario. Sounded OK. I re-strung with Rics (I won't go into that well known ordeal), and was surprised at how much better it sounded. I like the feel of the compressed rounds too. Members Brian Krashpad
They make different kinds of strings? I dunno, mine just has those metal electric guitar type strings on it. 10's I'm guessing.

rics come stock with a very odd gauge set. its like a heavy top, light bottom set. they really do sound good, but i didn't like the feel. i put my standard D'Addario 10s on my blueburst 330.
