It's not unusual to get a piano for free if you'll agree to pick it up. The damn things are so heavy sometimes folks can't move them. It looks great. Nice find.

 

 

I agree. you see quite a few piano's on craigslist for free or very cheap (as long as you pick up)

Actually,about a year & a half ago,the neighbors who lived next door to my g/f's brother threw out a Casio keyboard & folding stand.
$15 for the power supply & it works!!!

Pianos are cooler,tho!!!
But no sucky drum machine...

I have a Wurlitzer that looks just like it but with a slightly darker finish. Mine was free too, but I paid a piano mover $150 to get it to (and in) my house.

It was tuned 7-8 years ago and still sounds great. Two of my kids learned to play it.

Moving it to my garage by myself definatley took some work, but hey, I ain't complaining! It's nice being built like a roadie sometimes.

cool piano man, my old roommate used to have one, we were carrying it down to the basement, and dropped it down the steps, it didnt make it, was pretty far and all concrete, poor piano. RIP
