Members Vintage_freak
This was something i just found.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rickenbacker_W0QQitemZ270244829028QQihZ017QQcategoryZ41439QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemA strange shape, especially as he says this is a 620. Also, the lack of binding, dotted frets and no contoured bottom where the R tailpiece is leaves me feeling strangely suspicious. Anyone have any info/ opinions on this? BTW, here is a real 620 to compare it to.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-Rickenbacker-620-FIREGLO-Rick-O-Sound-Guitar_W0QQitemZ140238856303QQihZ004QQcategoryZ2384QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em122Ian

Members docjeffrey
It's correct. I don't know the exact time period, but 620's did not have binding on the body or the neck for a few years.

Members Vintage_freak
Well, yeah ok. But, there is no cresting wave cutaway on the upper horn. Unless its a terrible pic.Ian
Members ArKay
The left horn seems totally off.
Members Dann-O
the horn is what I saw first I had one before. I really liked mine but looking at the horn I think it might be a fake.
Members fuzztone
It looks like the top was spray painted gold.
Members Vintage_freak
UPDATE: the description now includes a decodded serial number, saying it is from February 1992. I found a 1991 610 and 620/12, the shape is the same. I think maybe this could be a 610 with bad photographinbg/butchered upper horn. Or it could be a fake. 1991 Rick 610 1991 Rick 620/12 Ian

Members mrbrown49
I wouldn't trust ANY ebay auction that had such terrible pics.
Members d_dave_c
Might be a 610, but there's no way that's a 620.

Members Wyatt
The pics are poor and I sure can't guarantee authenticity. But, they got the model # wrong. If it's real, it's a Ric 320, the 3/4 scale version of the 350. They were discontinued as a normal production model in the mid '90's, now the closest thing they make to it is a vintage RI style 325. A 1988

Members ReniMani2
I have an issue of Vintage Guitar from a few years ago with a cover story on Tom Petty. In his collection is a black solidbody Ricky that started out with the cresting wave upper bout, and was modified into the more pointy shape of the 325 because the previous owner wanted it to look like Lennon's. Maybe this is something similar? Still, the bad photo quality makes it suspect.
Members Wyatt
Here's the auction pic: You okay Wyatt? Those look nothing alike. I gave up my 360 years ago (sold it to the same starving college student I bought it from, only by then he was co-owner in Atomic Music), never looked back. Actually, it looks like a 620 that's been cut to look like a 320.
