Members Jeff da Weasel
Joni Mitchell's "Shadows and Light" band is close to perfect for me. Maybe move Don Alias from drums to percussion and replace on kit with, say, Steve Gadd or Peter Erskine and I could be happy. Don was more of a percussionist anyway, though I thought he did a fabulous job on the traps on that tour. By the way, for those of you not in the know... the band Mark is referring to: - Joni Mitchell (guitar, vocals)- Pat Metheny (guitar)- Jaco Pastorius (bass)- Michael Brecker (sax)- Lyle Mays (keys)- Don Alias (drums) 4GLJCZ5L2sQ

Members Ani
Wow, I didn't realize that Sheryl Crow was old enough to have been able to perform with Elvis. That dates her a bit more than I thought. She's either older than I thought, or she started playing professionally as a VERY young teen.

What material should they play??? Ummm....covers of Monk tunes maybe with wild arrangements by Mingus Short-lived as it would of course be, it would be worth it to see at least 8 people simultaneously attempt to strangle Crosby (only Sinead would succeed.)
