Members garthman
Off we go again - and I hope "we" are more than last time. This month's submission is an instrumental version (it's pretty much the intro with a bit taggged on) of a song called "First Girl I Loved" by The Incerdible String Band. It's an old recording - I think I recorded it to use on the old Annexe that Krash hosted - but never posted it. First Girl I Loved (Incredible String Band) https://app.box.com/s/xiebc2e7yfcuiyoatm7ts6ful2rsnkv5 I probably used my Crafter TD06
Members Idunno
Cool tune, Howard. I suppose I should know of the Incredible String Band, but I don't. I'll have to look them up. Recordiing gear is gone, guitar is stringless going through an electronic gutting so I'm officially down. Here's one from an experimental foray into atmospheric music that pre-dates the Annex by a few years. https://app.box.com/s/8ykm2yqi9y6w0trcwsnu
Members tbry
An old recording of me doing the Beatles...when ever someone does a Beatle song it pales in comparison but here it is.
Members Freeman Keller
Here is another one that goes back before the Annex (wow, does that bring back memories. A Big Bill Broonzy song that most people first heard when Clapton covered it on Unplugged - simple little ditty called Hey Hey, Hey Hey http://vom.infocusreviews.com/index.php?p=play&id=Freeman_Keller/000_Hey_Hey.mp3
Members Mickey Maguire
I just uploaded this to YouTube. It is a combination of song and a review of the Breedlove Discovery Dread MP SB.
Members DeepEnd
Here's mine, a cover of "Sixteen Tons" by Tennessee Ernie Ford: http://yourlisten.com/DeepEnd/16tonscover. Played on my trusty Ibanez AW120, played in D minor, capoed at the 2nd fret. Warts and all.
Members DeepEnd
garthman - I'm not familiar with the Incredible String Band either but I liked it. Well done.idunno - Very atmosphereic indeed. Nice job. Is that an original?tbry - Nothing pale about it. You did fine except for the British accentFreeman - Well done as usual. Thanks for sharing.Mickey - Nice job and that Breedlove sounds as good as it looks. I happen to like Breedloves anyway. I don't know that I'd call the burst "tobacco" but that's a minor quibble. Members g6120
I learned a new song yesterday and recorded it while still fresh which doesn't make for a very good version so I submit my ham handed butchering of a classic :
