Members Snappy Hat
Thats how its come down to after owning over 200 guitars. 1. Neck neck neck. Body could be a unfinished block of wood for all I care as long as it got good pickups and intonates and oh ya has a tremolo. That is all.

Members Kace
Doesn't look unfinished Quite the opposite. And I agree, so long as the neck feels and plays right, the rest can be fixed/dealt with/ignored.
Members Doctor Morbius
I would play a block of unfinished wood if the neck was right. I would too. The neck is where the action is.

Members Belva
I play with my wood all the time. It's unfinished, but the more I play with it, the harder and shiner it gets
Members Flatspotter
Doesn't look unfinished Quite the opposite. The shininess is from skin oil. Warmoth doesn't finish or oil their rosewood necks.

Members WilmerTheWhite
I often hear people speak about different neck sizes. I have 3 guitars that I play every day; one has a Gibson slim taper neck, another has a thicker and rounded -59 neck, and the third has a thin wide Jackson-style neck.
