Bassists are just strange. Valuable, but strange.

      a $10 used harmonica. gross.

You'll find that Honer harmonicas are good quality harmonicas and this is probably a great deal.
And I've blown in many harmonicas not belonging to me, made a hell of a lot of unpleasant noise - can't play them - but NEVER caught a disease.

Well Dick, it's got a good beat, and I could dance to it, so I give it a 10!
I have opinions of my own, strong opinions but I don't always agree with them.

It's Craigslist, you just know someone's going to ask to come by and take a look at them, show up three hours late, and try to talk him down to 75 cents and a temporary tattoo.
Punk rock is a work ethic.

considering new bass strings are like $35,
and since no one besides bass players can tell the difference between new and old strings,
              i say WATEV.

I'd buy 'em... 5 bux for a set of strings that last a couple years, why not?

Agree with this. A bunker full of gear makes it hard to understand such things.

see, we're all guitar players, so we don't consider that a set of bass strings costs about $30 and will last you years
