  • I finally finished my guitar wall (Pics, of course.)

The mounting's a little rough, and there are plenty of visible screw holes and such since I wasn't exactly doing the measure twice drill once thing, but when it's full of guitars, I don't expect people to notice.

p.s. That's not my Harmony. My bandmate gave me the Harmony and told me to "fix it," so I just put a Tune-O-Matic on it and I'm going to return it this weekend. That spot will normally be occupied by a Squier Vista Series Candy Apple Red Jagmaster but USPS hasn't delivered it yet.

I'm also a one strap per guitar type . I hate changing straps, so I bought 50 Levy padded leather straps .

Haha. I usually just use the $5 Ernie Ball poly straps, and then I Grolsch them on for good. A guitar should always have a strap on it.

I wish I could get away with poly, but back issues etc I need padded .

Oh that's a bummer. They're sort of expensive, padded straps.

I suppose none of my guitars weigh a lot either, that probably adds to it.

By the time they were done scrubbing the weed off the walls (I don't smoke but my roommates...), it's not like we were ever gonna see the deposit anyway. I consider deposit to be gone the moment it's paid.

I do the same thing, and I color coordinate them with each guitar. As my wife said to me last time I went shopping for a coordinating strap: "you're such a girl" ...

My black Badtz Maru Bass and pink Hello Kitty Strat actually have the official matching straps from Fender, and yeah, I like color coordinating, too. They usually don't match the same color, but they usually have something to do with the color of the guitar. I use black straps when nothing else really makes sense.

Hey Honey (may I call you Honey?),

Where did you get the wall mount hooks that angle?  I've been looking on-line and only finding them from China.
