Members sabriel9v
I've been a fan of Dizzy Diz for years, but hardly anyone in the States has been talking about him since Boy in Da Corner. Is he still the boss over in the UK?
Members joeyowen
he went mainstream and threw out some {censored} songs to get a quick chart hit...he was sooo good earlier on, but fuuuck me has he just lost all respect i had for him
Members sabriel9v
Dizzy is still the man! You didn't like Showtime or his new album?
Members gambit
i agree. he's lost touch with anything that once gave him credibility. selling out is the uk way when it comes to (i can't believe i'm going to say this) 'urban' music. Members joeyowen
see if you can youtube some of his earlier demos, they are pure talent. this {censored} he does with calvin harris are just summer pop tunes and nothing more if he is happy thats cool, but it seems like a waste to me

I suppose I'm biased because I have major respect for any rapper coming out of the UK. Kano was never big over here, but I loved that song P's and Q's and always hoped he would blow up here. UK's rap scene has definitely become more pop and less grime, but I feel it's less corrupt than the American rap scene, way less corrupt.
Members 23twentythree
kano, wiley and dizzee are all going more mainstream. you should check out devlin and ghetto for stuff that hasn't gone too commercial yet.
