Members Paolo Di Nicolantonio
...LOVE IT!!! I'm off on a business trip and no longer have the Micron, so I needed something small to put in the suitcase. It's light, sounds phenomenal, and doubles as controller for Reason. Laptop, Indigo I/O, M-Audio Uno, and MicroKorg. Perfect!

Members pagan
Is MicroKORG's vocoder better than Micron's?
Members WhinyLittleRunt
I didn't even know the micron had a vocoder..
Members Yoozer
The Ion has one, so the Micron has one, too . Must admit that I haven't tried it though. I think the MicroKorg one is more intelligible. Plus, formant freeze - gotta love that.
Members Darkstorm
Microkorg is very nice mini synth. Diff sounds much better then the micron imo. Much fuller, warmer & richer sound imo.
Members Umbra
Hehe, this thread is funny, eveyone under the sun claims the ion is better than an ms2000 yet here a micro is better than a micron..... hehehe. I think the micro's only saving grace is it runs on batteries, honestly I think someone is better off with a laptop and cheap USB controller. Otherwise it's a more or less stripped down ms2000 that looks hideous and has minimal controls and bad keys.
Members tucktronix
I like my MicroKorg. Aside from the small keys, it's a fun little 'board to mess around with. I can get some cool leads out of it.

The Cognitive Dissonance Death Squad will have an appointment with you at 4 AM, tomorrow . It's obvious that the Micron's bulkier and heavier than the MicroKorg though, so I'd chalk that up as another saving grace .
