Members LiveMusic
Can a video clip from a website be saved somehow to my clipboard or or hard drive or does the site owner have to send me the actual file?

Members Anderton
I don't have an answer for that, I've run into the same problem. Sometimes you can right-click and "Save target as" and sometimes not. There are programs that capture audio streams coming from your sound card (like Total Recorder), but don't know if there's something equivalent for video. There currently are, but we then get into the issues of1) "are we talking abt streaming vid"2) "is it technially feasible"3) "are we authorized"

In most cases, yes (on a PC that is)...the video is cached to your hard drive; you'll usually find it in a path something like this: C:Documents and SettingsUserAccountNameLocal SettingsTemporary Internet FilesTemporary Internet Files By default, the local settings folder will be hidden, so before you go looking for video files make sure you choose to view all hidden files and folders in your options menu. Once you're in the right path, choose to "arrange files by type" and then scroll through to your media files. ~Blackbelt
Members TimOBrien
If it's from YouTube, iFilm, PutFile, etc., you can go here: http://keepvid.com/ Put in the URL of the file and get it downloaded for you...

I remember doing that to save flash files. Great tip. Just don't clear your cache before grabbing the file.
Members MortenDK
If you are watching the vid in say WMP, just just click file and save as, and save it where you want!!
Members steadyb
I thought you were talking about a religious video clip.
