Creepy Lyrics (without the music)

Funny how creepy some song lyrics are when you write them down and take them out of the song.

How about Aerosmith's 'Don't Wanna Miss a Thing'. Imagine writing this in a poem to a woman? I think she would call the police :cop:

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing

Watch you smile while you are sleeping

While you're far away and dreaming

I could spend my life in this sweet surrender

I could stay lost in this moment forever

Well, every moment spent with you

Is a moment I treasure

I don't wanna close my eyes

I don't wanna fall asleep

'Cause I'd miss you, baby

And I don't wanna miss a thing

Every breath you take

Every move you make

Every bond you break, every step you take

I'll be watching you

Every single day

Every word you say

Every game you play, every night you stay

I'll be watching you

Oh, can't you see

You belong to me?

How my poor heart aches

With every step you take

Every move you make

Every vow you break

Every smile you fake, every claim you stake

I'll be watching you

Since you've gone I've been lost without a trace

I dream at night, I can only see your face

I look around, but it's you I can't replace

I feel so cold, and I long for your embrace

I keep crying baby, baby please,

Oh, can't you see

You belong to me?

How my poor heart aches

With every step you take

Every move you make

Every vow you break

Every smile you fake, every claim you stake

I'll be watching you

Every move you make, every step you take

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you...

Yeah the police song is creepy with the music so that does it for me...

Motley crue had a song on their Girls album called You`re all I need...

No one played it... it was way to graphic. Too bad... the melody was actually good.

btw- I believe Dionne Warren wrote the Aero tune.

Actually, that song was written by one of the most successful female songwriters in popular music, Diane Warren (who admits she's never been in a serious relationship, but that hasn't stopped her from writing all these crazy love songs).

I don't necessarily think it's creepy though--it's about someone who feels that time spent with the one they love is so precious, they don't want to miss a moment of it. Not one of Aerosmith's better moments, though.

Every Breath You Take is a creepy song, but intentionally creepy, so it's OK.

With the mention of Snow Patrol... when I first got Final Straw, a great album in my opinion, the first song on the album sounds innocent enough. A small dispute between lovers. But on closer inspection a truly creepy drug infused argument is going on...

Please take it easy

It can't all be my fault

I haven't made half the mistakes

That you've listed so far

Baby let me explain something

It's all down to drugs

At least I remember taking them

And not a lot else

It seems I've stepped over lines

You've drawn again and again

But if the ecstacy's in

The wit is definitely out

Dr. Jekyll is wrestling Hyde

For my pride

Gary Lightbody's lyrics manage to avoid almost any trace of rhyme. This just adds to the creepyness, rightness, and wrongness of it all. When he does rhyme it's like a well place period to cut to the point. A sharp period. Dr. Jekyll is wrestling Hyde

for my pride. He sure is buddy. He's great. Listen to this verse with music and it brings logic to mayhem, or mayhem to logic, just like taking a lot of drugs does.

Neil Finn sometimes can't help it.

Sleeping on an unmade bed

Finding out wherever there is comfort there is pain

Only one step away

Like four seasons in one day

Blood dries up

Like rain, like rain

Fills my cup

Like four seasons in one day

"Goodnight Moon" by Shivaree is creepy with or without the music:

There's a nail in the door

And there's glass on the lawn

Tacks on the floor

And the TV is on

And I always sleep with my guns when you're gone

There's a blade by the bed

And a phone in my hand

A dog on the floor

And some cash on the nightstand

When I'm all alone the dreaming stops

And I just can't stand

What should I do I'm just a little baby

What if the lights go out

And maybe and then the wind just starts to moan

Outside the door he followed me home

So goodnight moon

I want the sun

If it's not here soon

I might be done

No it won?t be too soon 'til I say goodnight moon

There's a shark in the pool

And a witch in the tree

A crazy old neighbor and he's been watching me

And there's footsteps loud and strong coming down the hall

Something's under the bed

Now it's out in the hedge

There's a big black crow sitting on my window ledge

And I hear something scratching through the wall

What should I do I'm just a little baby

What if the lights go out

And maybe and then the wind just starts to moan

Outside the door he followed me home

So goodnight moon

I want the sun

If it's not here soon

I might be done

No it won't be too soon 'til I say goodnight moon

D.O.A

Bloodrock

Bloodrock 2

Laying here looking at the ceiling

Someone lays a sheet across my chest

Something warm is flowing down my fingers

Pain is flowing all through my back

I try to move my arms and there's no feeling

And when I look I see there's nothing there

The face beside me stopped it totally bleeding

The girl I knew has such a distant stare

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

Then I looked straight at the attendant

His face is pale as it can be

He bends and whispers something softly

He says there's no chance for me

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

Life is flowing out my body

Pain is flowing out with my blood

The sheets are red and moist where I'm lying

God in Heaven, teach me how to die

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

Every Breath You Take is a creepy song, but
intentionally
creepy, so it's OK.

Also Aerosmith's only number 1 single.
